Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the thematic structure and production process and growth of articles extracted from master's theses in knowledge and information science of Iranian public universities. Methodology:The present study has examined articles from the beginning to the first half of 1398 through homogeneous analysis. 1425 dissertations were retrieved by searching the dissertation sites. Through the search of researchers, the titles of dissertations in the databases of "Meg Iran", "Normagz", "Science Search Engine", "Humanities Database", "University Jihad Database" and "Google Scholar" were retrieved 623 articles. Excel and Rover Prim software were used to analyze the bibliographic information of the articles and to analyze the homogeneity of the topics of the articles and to unify the keywords. Out of a total of 394 keywords, 59 keywords with a minimum frequency of 5 were selected using the Bradford's law and inclusion threshold to construct the co-occurrence matrix. Then, the created matrix was converted to UCNET software format, and maps and the value of degree, proximity and intermediate degree indicators were drawn and calculated through the software plugin, ie NetDrawFindings: Findings showed that according to the indicators of intermediate centrality and rank, the highest value belongs to the topics of "academic libraries", "librarians", "knowledge management" and "scientometrics". Also, according to the Centrality of Proximity Index, the topics of "librarians", "academic libraries", "information literacy" and "knowledge management" have the most impact on the network. The growth trend reached its highest level in 1994 and 1995. Ferdowsi University of Mashhad with 100 titles and Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz with 83 titles have the first and second ranks of nuclear universities among the universities that publish articles, respectively. Conclusion: The greater focus of dissertation papers on scientometrics, knowledge management, librarians, information literacy, and academic libraries indicates the importance of these topics in postgraduate research.

Background and Objectives: Nowadays, library software is considered as an important part of service tools in libraries, and since librarians are on one side as importers of bibliographic information and borrowers, and on the other side end users search for information with the help of this system. The need to comply with information exchange standards and the up-to-dateness of services in them as well as user-friendliness is clearly felt. It is obvious that if the library software is not in accordance with the standards, the loss of capital on the one hand and the reduction of the efficiency and speed of library work on the other hand will be a definite result. The purpose of this study was to evaluate in-house library software in terms of performance indicators based on the view of librarians.
Methodology: The current research is practical in terms of purpose and survey-evaluative in terms of methodology. By referring to the website of different libraries, visiting different libraries in person, field studies and interviewing people who are experts in this field, first of all internal library software (library software that the organization interested in designing by relying on specialized human resources or organizational capital, designs it) Were identified. In total, 23 in-house library software were identified, of which 9 in-house library software are currently active and librarians use it in daily use, and 14 software have been deactivated and libraries have moved to another software. Out of these 9 active softwares, 5 softwares are related to university libraries affiliated to the Ministry of Science, software related to public libraries, Tebian library software belonging to Tebian Cultural and Information Institute, Saha belonging to the specialized library of Islamic history and software of the comprehensive system of libraries. The ideological and political organization of the army that belongs to the army. According to the purpose of the research, five-library software are recommended. Parwan. Simad Mava and Oracle University of Tehran were selected for evaluation based on performance indicators due to their activeness, scope of coverage and similarity (university library software affiliated with the ministries of science). The statistical population under investigation was 131 librarians of Shahid Beheshti, Tehran, Malik Ashtar, Ferdowsi and Sharif universities who used internal library software for their daily activities and were selected by census. To measure the validity of the research tool, the checklist was given to six experts, including two faculty members, two software designers, and two professional users, and its content validity was evaluated, and after the deficiencies were corrected, the checklist was compiled. In order to check the reliability and reliability of the questionnaire, a preliminary study was conducted on 12 librarians of the University of Tehran who are working with the library software of the University of Tehran and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated. The number obtained from the calculation of Cronbach's alpha coefficient was equal to 93%. After the final correction, the checklist was distributed to the entire community and in the phase of analyzing the findings, the mentioned test was performed again. Considering that the alpha coefficient of 88% was obtained at this stage, it is clear that the questions of the checklist have internal consistency and the checklist is reliable.
Findings: The results showed that 64/64 of software in circulation advice, Symad software 50/89 percent, 08/70 percent Parwan software, software Tehran 22/56 percent, 76 percent have a favorable condition sojourn software. The procurement and ordering section does not exist in the software of Tehran, Pand, Parwan. In addition, although it is designed, it is not actually used in Mava software. Only in the Simmand software, librarians actually use this section and 36.1% of them are in good condition. In storage and retrieval of 41.64% of software, 34.71% of Simmand software, 24.61% of Parwan software, 37.69% of software in Tehran, 40.38% of Mova software are in good condition. In the reporting section, 24.24% of the software is Pand, 53.20% of the software, 18.19% of the software in Parwan, 32.77% of the software in Tehran, 56.08% of the software in Mova is a desirable situation. The results showed that only Simmand software has paid attention to the orders section, which requires more attention in this section. In addition, the software is lagging behind in various subdivisions, there are weaknesses, in fact, intra-house library software has been able to some extent meet the daily needs of librarians in these sectors, but given the advancement of technology, and it has not been able to meet their expectations.
Discussion: The results of this research will help the organizations and libraries that produce this type of software, that by using these results and by using the opinions of librarians, they can try to improve the state of the software, and it can even help other libraries and organizations that intend to do this. make them think more when making decisions and pay more attention to the capabilities of the leading intra-organizational software in this work and the opinions of the users of these software. It is suggested to evaluate the commercial library software in the libraries used throughout the country by using this checklist and make a comparison between internal and commercial software. Finally, he proceeded to prepare these softwares.

AbstractBackground and Objectives: Websites are suitable tools for interaction among organizations and citizens. So, the main goal of each efficient website must be presenting high-quality information. embassies' websites should have high quality and interaction with each other so that effective information and communication channel is established between embassies' websites and their visitors. Quality Criteria of Website Quality Evaluation Tool include Content, Performance, Credibility, UpDating, Links, Graphics, Scope, Structure, and use of MetaTags. On the other hand, given that the embassies' websites have thematic and content subscriptions, the links between the websites will play an important role in the visibility of the websites. Determining the current status of the quality of the websites of Iranian embassies has led to the identification of their strengths and weaknesses and can be a way to a more successful and useful presence in cyberspace for visitors to use the content of the websites. The aim of this study was to determine embassies' websites status in terms of quality of embassies' websites and drawing their link network relationship.Methodology: This study is an applied work, which was carried through surveys and webometric methods. The population consisted of 145 embassies' websites. Evaluations were done using the Website Quality Evaluation Tool and Webometric Analyst software. In this study, face validity was used to determine the validity, so that experts and professors in the field of website quality evaluation and mapping of network relations were consulted. Also, the reliability of the current measuring instrument was 95% of Cronbach's alpha, which showed very high reliability. The collected data were analyzed using Quality grade formula and descriptive statistics.Step 1: Website Quality Assessment tool (WQAT) is used. Using this tool, each site is evaluated based on a checklist of website quality assessment tools. 9 criteria (Content, Performance, Credibility, UpDating, Links, Graphics, Scope, Structure, and use of MetaTags) and 38 components or features (37 components of a website quality assessment tool with a question asked by researchers) on websites Were investigated.Step 2: The data collection tool in the second step was the free Webometric Analyst 2.0 software. First, the program is loaded from the LexiURL browser, Link Network Diagram option, In the second step, a text file with the names of the domains or URLs in each row was created using Notepad Windows with a similar text program. The browser starts the data collection phase and after a few minutes to half an hour, a report will be presented in the form of a set of pages.Findings: The results of the findings showed that Out of the 145 studied embassies' websites, 131 embassies' websites had ranked as high-quality and reliable websites and 14 embassies' websites were ranked as websites with very good quality. The highest rankings in the High-Quality Score included the Libyan Embassy - Tripoli (82), followed by Hungary - Budapest (80) and India - The Hague (80). The lowest quality was related to the website of the Embassy of Afghanistan - Jalalabad. In examining the status of embassies' websites based on content criteria, most websites were in average poor condition (93.69), and the status of most embassies' websites in terms of performance criteria was very average (64.25). In terms of Credibility, embassies' websites are very weak (38.62), very strong (26.37), weak (18.79), moderately weak (8.44), very average (5.51), strong (24/2), respectively. In terms of UpDating, the websites of the embassies were very average (49.65), very poor (46.37), weak (3.27), and moderately weak (0.68), respectively. In the survey based on Links, the websites of the embassies were moderately weak (94.25) and weak (5.74), respectively. In the Graphical survey, the status of most embassies' websites was very average (80.91). In the Domain-Based survey, the majority of embassies' websites were moderately weak (66.66). In terms of Structure, embassies' websites were moderately weak (99.65) and weak (0.34), respectively. In the survey based on the MetaTags feature, the embassies' websites were in very poor (95.86) and excellent (4.13) positions, respectively. Moreover, in inspecting embassies' websites using Webometric Analyst software, no link network relationship was found between the embassies' websites Based on interaction and communication links together.Discussion: In general, recommended that designers of these websites focus on quality criteria as well as their link network of relationships. Since the embassies' websites are an important source of information for many people, the issue of quality and their network relationships is very important. In general, the research results showed that web designers have, to some extent, paid attention to website quality criteria (Content, Performance, Credibility, UpDating, Links, Graphics, Scope, Structure, and use of MetaTags), but paid no attention to establishing network relationship.

Background and Objectives: References in papers, articles, dissertations and so on are very important. Readers use these references in their works so citations and references must be accuarated. Citation behavior has its issues and problems. There are some errors in documentation of evidences that can effect on quality of scientific works. Wrong citation can disconnect relation between scholar and resource. It means that with existing error in references or citations a scholar can not find needed resources and linking between text and citation can not be appeared. So, the aim of this study is to verify the accuracy of citation of defended thesis in Shahid Beheshti University in the period of 2012-2015. Methodology: The method of research in light of the practical purpose and data collection method is surveying. This research is in the form of survey and the statistical population included all thesis defended in the academic years 2012-2015 in Shahid Beheshti University; the total number is 6251. The total amount of citations was 287269 which based on Cochran formula with 98% confidence, finally 2381 citation were selected as the sample in this study. The sampling method was stratified random. With regard to the components of the citation document type and the citation proof language, eight citations from each dissertation were examined, in each of the theses, the following citations were examined: 1. The first Persian Article citations and the first Latin Article citations. 2. The first Persian book citation and the first Latin book citation. 3. The first Persian dissertation citation and the first Latin dissertation citation. 4. The first Persian Web citation and the first Latin Web citation. The method for collecting data in this study was direct observation. Firstly, all selected citations, from Persian databases, Latin and general search engines, were searched for the existence or absence of such a source. In the second stage, the validity of each citations was verified according to the retrieved information. In the next step, the errors of each citation were recorded in the checklist. Then, the problems and errors of each of the citations were based on the results of the retrieval in the checklist. At the same time, during the research process, each selected citation was recorded in accordance with the school's style sheet, and the errors of each of the elements in the dedicated section were recorded in the checklist for these errors. Types of citation errors based on the division of work of Azadeh et al. (2009) were divided into two groups of large errors and small errors. Major errors or serious problems in retrieving the document or failing to retrieve the document. Examples include the wrong name of the authors, the deletion of the authors, the large misspellings in the title of the article, spelling mistakes in the limited edition of the publication, the year of the publication of the mistake or its exclusion, the elimination of the period or the mention of the wrong period, and so on. It is worth noting that in the total amount of errors, only one small error and a large error will be considered in each element, for example, in the title of the article on the existence of two errors: "mistakes in the title of the article" and "mistakes in the use of signs" ", Only a small error was calculated. Large citation errors include mistakes and mistakes such as mistakes in the name of the author / s, inaccuracy in the information about the publication year, inaccuracies in the information about the title of the article or the book, the mistakes of the information on the title of the journal, the error of the information about The issue number and period of publication, the mistake of the publisher's information, the misprinting of the publication information, and the small citation errors, including spelling mistakes in the various citation fields, are the falseness of the marks used in the citation. Findings: A total of 2381 citations were selected to verify the authenticity of documents which some of them didn't have some citation; Overall 1951 citations were examined. From examined citations, 68 numbers didn't retrieved and were blind citations. The results show that among the error sources based on the type of source citation, citation source language, and level of education component, faculty and the year of defending thesis, there is significant differences. However gender component does not have a significant impact on the accuracy of citation. Discussion: Several factors can be found in happening of unfavorable situation in theses. We can suggest some solution in order to optimize citiation management and copying in theses .such as allocating some part of thesis score in to validity of citiation provided, holding educational workshops of resource management and organizing unit in university to verify thesis citations
