Analysis of Iranian faculty information sharing in social networks: the case of Shahid Chamran University
Purpose. the purpose of this research is to analyze scientific information sharing of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz faculty in social networks.Method. This study which is conducted through quantitative and qualitative methods, is an applied research in terms of aim, and is of a descriptive-analytic type in nature. The population included all faculty members of Shahid Chamran University. Interview was also applied to complete the information gathered through the questionnaire. Findings. The findings showed that most respondents spend less than 30 minutes daily to share scientific information through social networks. Among different capabilities of social networks, respondents mostly use their personal profiles to share their publications and interests. The most important barriers for them to use the social networks is lack of instruction on how to use social networks to share scientific information.Results. Using social networks among faculty members will encourage them to share scientific information and exchange ideas, and hence, help to develop science, create new information, and increase scientific production.

The Contextual Factors Affecting the Scholarly Communication of Faculty Members in Iran’s Universities
Purpose: The goal of the present study was to investigate the contextual factors affecting the scholarly communication of the faculty members in Iran’s Universities. Methodology: The study aimed to be an applied analytic survey. The statistical population included the faculty members working in all universities in Iran. The data gathering instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire containing 35 questions. The obtained Alpha Cronbach correlation coefficient was.881 which proved the reliability of the questionnaire. The data were analyzed based on multiple regression analysis using Amos and SPSS 21. Finding: The multiple regression analysis showed that among the contextual factors, the variable of the relationship with government, the academic freedom, the social environment and political and cultural environment can statistically explain the variance of scholarly communication.Conclusion: : It is concluded that there is significant relationship between the scholarly communication with the scientific products. Moreover, the scholarly communication can explain the variance of the scientific production.

Interpretive Structural Modeling of Barriers to Knowledge Commercialization
Purpose: The present research aimed to develop an interpretive structural model of the barriers to knowledge commercialization (KC) in Payame Noor University (PNU) of Iran.Method: The present research is an applied research of mixed method types in terms of objectives and it is conducted based on confirmatory factor analysis. Fuzzy Delphi method was used for validation and variable screening, and barriers to KC were prioritized using fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (AHP). Moreover, fuzzy DEMATEL technique and interpretive structural modeling were used for the identification and development of a model for the relationship between variables. The research community was experts of KC at PNU and given the research approach, 30 people were selected among them based on purposive sampling.Findings: Given the amount of effectiveness and affectability of the variables in the interpretive structural model, the variables such as weak legal framework for supporting idea people at the university, inefficiency and ineffectiveness of the rules and regulations for commercialization, lack of regulation for the apportionment of financial gain from commercialization among scholars, lack of skilled and expert human resources, lack of financial resources and facilities for commercialization of research results, and the weakness in the mutual recognition between university and industry, are the most affectable; they are in fact the dependent variables of the model.

Scientific Repositories as Indices for Ranking of the Iranian Universities of Medical Sciences
Aim: Webometric is the quantitative study of production aspects and use of information resources, structures on the Web. This study aimed to evaluate and rank the websites of Iranian medical science' universities with an emphasis on their scientific repositories. Method: 48 websites of target universities were surveyed and examined during 23 March 2017 through 28 March 2017 using webometric tools and methods. Findings: The findings showed that Shahid Beheshti, Tehran and Ahvaz Universities of Medical Sciences had the highest ranks among the other universities in terms of their website properties, respectively. Also, scientific repository of Mashhad with 20.43 percent of the total score of the survey, Ardabil with 17.60 percent, and Artesh University of Medical Sciences with 14 percent of the total score of the survey showed to have the greatest impact on their academic webometric ranking in general. Results: The results showed that the majority of the universities of medical sciences under study did not use their repository properly, and in most universities websites, scientific repository did not appear to have a significant impact on their academic webometric ranking.

Evaluation of the Iranian academic library collections based on the Standards of Iranian University Libraries (SIUL)
Aim: This paper aims at evaluation of libraries of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz based on the "Standards of Iranian University Libraries" (SIUL) to clarify the current status of the resources of those libraries based on the abovementioned standards in a fifteen-year time period. Methodology: A checklist was used for evaluation of resources of university libraries, which was prepared based on SIUL. Data collection of libraries' resources was accomplished using the AZARSA integrated web-based library software tailored for the Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz libraries. Additional tools and techniques used for data collection were interviews with librarians, statistics related to inventory of the libraries under investigation, statistics related to the number of faculty members and students in 2018. Results: The results of study indicate that the average conformity percentage of all libraries of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz with SIUL in 2018 has reached 17% demonstrating 2% increase compared to 2004. This could promise an ascending growth trend of resources in the target libraries; however, it should be noted that there is still a big gap to reach the standard level.

Comparison of Information Retrieval Capabilities in Library Software of Payam, Voyager and Aleph
Aim: The purpose of this study was comparing Information Retrieval Capabilities in Web-based Library Software of Payam, with Voyager and ALEPH. Methodology: A checklist designed and included six main trait for evaluation and comparing 73 scales. Data collected by experts' observing of the software's OPAC. Data analyzed by the descriptive statistics methods. Findings: Findings shows the preferences in search capabilities in species of fields the Aleph with 97% is the most and Payam with 93.45% is the least, in search formula Aleph and Voyager with 100% has the most and Payam with 58.33% is the least, in possibility of species of searches Voyager with 83.9% is the most and Aleph with 78.73% is the least, in display of results Aleph with 96.36% is the most and Payam with 78.18% is the least, in help all of software with 92.85% are equal, and in web 2 capabilities Aleph with 80% is the most and Payam with 0% has the least preferences. Results: The results show that Aleph with 91.30 percent is in first grade, Voyager with 87.24 percent is in the second grade and Payam with 75.50 percent is in the third grade. Payam has the least preferences of evaluation than the two other software.
