Abstract
Aim: The present study aimed to assess the organizational readiness for deployment of the adornment system in all the libraries affiliated to Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences.
Method: The study was a descriptive survey of which the population included all librarians (n = 47) working in all mentioned libraries. Data collection tool was a questionnaire which was devised for the purpose of this study on the basis of the 5S approach. Data were analyzed by means of descriptive and inferential statistical techniques using SPSS software.
Findings: The data gathered showed that among all the organizational readiness factor, the individual effectiveness variable had the highest readiness with an average of 18.18, and the lowest readiness was that of effective system with an average of 15.15. Also, among the non-systematic factors, the order and arrangement variable with the highest mean score of 18.79 showed the highest readiness, and discipline and culture had the lowest readiness with a mean score of 13.60.
Conclusion: The level of organizational readiness of the libraries affiliated to Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences proved to be relatively acceptable in order to establish an organizational adornment system.
