Abstract

Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of technological innovation capabilities on staff professional development by mediating individual knowledge management among staff of public libraries in Iran.
Methodology: The statistical population of this study consisted of 6171 public librarians all over the country. Using Cochran formula, 362 individuals were considered as sample and 382 questionnaires were distributed and collected due to sampling error (0.05). To collect the data, three researcher-made technological innovation questionnaires, personal knowledge management by Mohyuddin and Azirovani (2007) and Nova Staff Professional Development (2008) were used.
Findings: According to the findings, the impact of technological innovation capabilities on staff professional development and personal knowledge management was 0.394 and 0.466, respectively.
