چکیده

هدف: هدف این پژوهش بررسی ارتباط بین سنجه‌های آلتمتریکس پایگاه Altmetrics Explorer با شاخص‌های استنادی مقاله در تولیدات علمی دانشگاه شهید چمران اهواز می‌باشد.

روش‌شناسی: این پژوهش از نوع کاربردی است که با رویکرد علم‌سنجی و با به‌کارگیری آلتمتریکس انجام شد. منبع استخراج داده‌های پژوهش برای هر یک از داده ها به این شرح خواهد بود که شاخص‌های آلتمتریکس مقالات از طریق سنجه‌های ارائه شده برای مقالات از پایگاه Altmetrics Explorer استخراج گردید. تولیدات علمی دانشکده ها نیز براساس وابستگی سازمانی نویسندگان مجزا شد و همبستگی شاخص های مورد آزمون در سطح دانشکده ها نیز مورد سنجش قرار گرفت تا تفاوت حوزه های علمی تعیین گردد. به منظور تعیین ارتباط بین این سنجه‌ها با شاخص‌های استنادی نیز، از آزمون همبستگی استفاده شد. آنالیزهای آماری به منظور تعیین مقادیر همبستگی و تعیین مولفه/مولفه‌های تاثیرگذار با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS انجام شد.

یافته‌ها: بنابر نتایج حاصل از پژوهش در کل تولیدات علمی دانشگاه بین تعداد کل استنادات با سنجه های اشاره مقالات در منابع سیاستگذاری، ثبت اختراعات، ویکی پدیا و مندلی و همچنین استنادات در پایگاه Dimentions رابطه معناداری وجود دارد (P-value<0.01). رابطه شاخص FWCI با نمره کل آلتمتریکس و اشاره در منابع خبری با P-value<0.05 و با اشاره در مندلی و استنادات در پایگاه Dimentions با P-value<0.01 معنادار است. همچنین بین صدک FWCI با سنجه اشاره در مندلی و استنادات در پایگاه Dimentions با P-value<0.01 ارتباط معناداری وجود دارد.

نتیجه‌گیری: پژوهشگران لازم است ضمن شناسایی مسیر و روش های معرفی مقالات در پایگاه ها و شبکه های اجتماعی علمی (پس از انتشار مقاله و یا نسخه قابل انتشار آن) از این درگاه ها به منظور بالا بردن میزان استفاده و نتیجتا استناد به مقالات خود، استفاده مطلوب کنند.

Background and Objectives: The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between the altmetrics metrics of the Altmetrics Explorer database and the citation indexes of the articles in the scientific productions of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz.
Methodology: This research is of an applied type, which was carried out with a scientometric approach and using altmetrics indicators. The research data extraction source for each of the data will be as follows: the altmetrics indices of the articles were extracted from the Altmetrics Explorer database through the metrics provided for the articles. The academic productions of the faculties were also separated based on the organizational affiliation of the authors, and the correlation of the tested indicators at the level of the faculties was also measured in order to determine the difference between the scientific fields. Research data search strategy: The scientific productions of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz were retrieved from the Scopus database with the following strategy and within the range of 2000 to 2020 and the type of research articles, reviews, letters to the editor and editorials.

In this database, the Altmetrics Attention Score is a measure of the amount of attention that a research output (such as an article) has attracted. The source of extracting this data includes the following:

Blogs, Dimensions Citation Data, Facebook, Faculty Opinions (formerly F1000), News and Mainstream Media, Mendeley, Patents, Policy Documents, Q&A Forums (Stack Exchange), Reddit, Twitter, Web of Science Citation Data, Wikipedia, YouTube, Syllabi (open syllabus)

 
 

In order to determine the relationship between these measures and reference indicators, correlation test was used. Statistical analyzes were performed in order to determine the correlation values and determine the influential component/components using SPSS software.

Findings: According to the results of the research in the entire scientific production of the university, there is a significant relationship between the total number of citations and the reference metrics of articles in policy sources, patents, Wikipedia, and Mendely, as well as citations in the Dimensions database (P-value<0.01). The relationship of FWCI index with Altmetrics total score and reference in news sources is significant with P-value<0.05 and with reference in Mendeley and citations in Dimentions database with P-value<0.01. Also, there is a significant relationship between the FWCI percentile with Mendelian reference scale and citations in Dimensions database with P-value<0.01.
Discussion: It is necessary for researchers to identify the path and methods of introducing articles in scientific databases and social networks (after the publication of the article or its publishable version) from these portals in order to increase the amount of use and, as a result, the citation of their articles.The expansion of social media and their importance in establishing scientific communication and disseminating research findings necessitates the need for new indicators in addition to traditional indicators for evaluating research. In the current study, out of 5501 retrieved articles, 735 articles were present in the Altmetrics Explorer database. In the entire scientific production of the university, there is a significant relationship between the total number of citations and the citation metrics of articles in policy sources, patents, Wikipedia, and Mendeley, as well as citations in the Dimensions database. The relationship between the FWCI index and the Altmetrics total score and mentions in news sources and mentions in Mendeley and citations in Dimensions database is significant. Also, there is a significant relationship between the FWCI percentile with Mendelian reference scale and citations in the Dimensions database. At the level of faculties, there was a relationship only in some indicators. Also, considering that some types of these networks, such as patents, are only applicable to some scientific fields, it is necessary to be identified by the research officials of universities and faculties, general social networks or specific scientific fields of the faculty. and to introduce articles in these databases and scientific networks. It is also necessary for researchers to identify the path and methods of introducing articles in scientific databases and social networks (after the publication of the article or its publishable version) from these portals in order to increase the amount of use and, as a result, citation of their articles. make it desirable
