The main purpose of this study is to analyze the strategic role of the public libraries in the Iran Geopolitics of Information This is an applied research with a mixed method (qualitative-quantitative) approach. To collect qualitative information, a semi-structured interview has been used. In the quantitative part, a researcher-made questionnaire Based on the result of the qualitative part, has been used. The statistical population of the research in the qualitative section includes 13 experts and university professors who were selected by a purposeful method based on criteria and has been analyzed using qualitative content analysis method. The findings of quantitative part has been analyzed using factor analysis. The population of the quantitative part, included the head managers and deputies of the general administrations of the Iran's public libraries (70 people) and the librarians of the provinces that have main and central public libraries from five clusters of north, south, east, west and center of Iran, including 10 provinces & 160 librarians. 201 complete questionnaires were received. Findings shows that, libraries have an implicitly role in strengthening cultural identity and increasing public awareness, especially in terms of strengthening Iranian-Islamic identity, as one of the three main components of geopolitics, but this role is not designed for a specific mission and It is also not clearly explained in upstream documents. Also, based on the findings, the centralized resources acquisition by the Iran Public Libraries Foundation for all public libraries in an integrated manner that there is not any clear role of users need in the selection process is inconsistent with the Free-Flow of Information approach. Other points of emphasis in the findings were: national policymakers should pay attention to the role of public libraries as a public discourse space in transmitting culture and information and a base for strengthening the power of soft defense, training and explaining the specific role for librarians, developing technological infrastructure of libraries, providing resources based on local needs and the audience needs, continuous and purposeful monitoring of activities and increasing the number of service recipients from public libraries.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the applicability of maps obtained from the co-word analysis of patents for medical and laboratory equipment using the opinions of experts in this field.Methodology: This research has been done in two stages. In the first stage, all-word analysis technique was used to extract concepts and draw thematic maps based on rank centrality, intermediate and proximity indicators. Then, in the second stage, using the Delphi technique, the opinions of a group of experts in the field of medical and laboratory equipment were used to evaluate the applicability of the maps and analyzes extracted in the first stage. The statistical population of the present study in the first stage is all the patents in the field of medical and laboratory equipment that have been registered in the database of the US Patent and Trademark Office in the period 1984 to 2014. In the second phase of this research, to implement the Delphi method, a panel consisting of a group of specialists in the field of medical and laboratory equipment who had a history of service and activity in this field, was formed. Results: Thematic maps could be useful in providing an overview of the content of patents in the field of medical and laboratory equipment. If scientific plans in the field of medical and laboratory equipment become a road map, they can have a positive impact on the decisions of experts in this field. Also, by eliminating the shortcomings in the scientific plans of medical and laboratory equipment, it is possible to improve the existing technologies in this field. Therefore, drawn scientific maps can be a good tool for those who want to gain a basic understanding of patents in the field of medical and laboratory equipment. Conclusion: The maps obtained from the co-word analysis of patents in the field of medical and laboratory equipment have been able to be effective in understanding the content of this scientific field.

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the quality of archived information in the technical documentation information systems of knowledge-based companies located in Khuzestan Science and Technology Park, in order to identify the quality assessment criteria of documentation preparation and maintenance and to provide a model for information managers to discover the link between effective information production activities and technical documentation. In this study, due to the coincidence of both qualitative and quantitative methods, simultaneous mixed method is considered for this research. In the qualitative part of the research, the analytical approach of histology is used and in the quantitative part the descriptive-survey method is used. In the quantitative part of the present study, two questionnaires were developed based on the study of the texts and the CISE model of Palmius (2007) as well as on the basis of Gitinejad's research (2018). The study population consisted of 44 research and development companies. 32 Documentation and 11 managers, whose documentary activity is done by a documented information system, participated in the survey to complete the questionnaire. In the qualitative part of the present study, 10 individuals were selected by purposeful sampling based on their expertise and interviews were conducted.. The findings of the present study showed that based on the single-group t-test, it can be argued that the quality of documentation preparation and maintenance in the technical documentation information systems in the statistical population with a mean higher than 3, is average and desirable. The average quality status of 3.468 was obtained. The results show that all four indices studied in the present study, including accessibility, quality, durability, and maintenance, were rated favorable with a score higher than criterion 3. The results of the present study showed that the components of sustainability component of maintenance status are more desirable than other indices. Also, the results of Pearson correlation test between the variables of the present study illustrate the hypothesis that the indices used are efficient and have meaningful relationships that increase or decrease of each component affects the other.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to assess the quality levels of library services at Jundi-Shapur University of Technology of Dezful by using LibQual tools to determine the status of its components from the users' point of view and determine the components that need to be upgraded.Methodology: The research is a descriptive survey. The research community included three thousand undergraduate and graduate students of the university and members of the library which were sampled according to the simple random sampling procedure. The statistical sample size based on Morgan table was estimated to be 341 people.Findings: The research findings showed that the library has been able to provide the minimum satisfaction of its users in some items of the Libqual questionnaire. The study also revealed that average level of services received by users in the service effect component is more than the other two components and in the community "with the highest limit of trust between 3.32 Up to 3.57 was in the first rank and then the component "information control" with a confidence limit between 2.86 to 3.11 in the second place and finally component "library as place" with a confidence limit between 2.52 to 2.79 was in the third rank.Discussion: The level of services received by library users in the "service effect" component is at the level of minimum expectations and is not significantly different from it. Also, the services received by users in the "Library as a place" component are significantly different from the minimum and maximum level of user's expectations in the community. The maximum adequacy gap is also in this component. In the "information control" component, the level of services received by users from the library is not significantly different from the minimum level of user's expectations, but its difference with the maximum level of The user's expectations is significant .Keywords: Service Quality Assessment, University Libraries, Dezful Jundi-shapur University of Technology, LibQual

Introduction: Methodological study of articles published in 11 scientific research journals in the field of art in 2019 is the problem of the present study and specifically to questions such as how to collect data and what is the approach and type of analysis of these articles and others such as the average number of authors per article, average scientific rank Academic and the predominant gender of the authors and the highest level of group participation among the Methods: This is a small research and its initial data were collected from scientific databases and then statistically collected and analyzed using research methodological knowledge and scientometric tools. Library resources have also been used for definitions and research concepts. Results: The data collection method of the majority of articles in the study population was library (66%), combined (field-library) (21%) and field (12%), respectively. Also, the dominant approach of articles is qualitative (88%), quantitative (7%) and combined (5%), respectively. Among the qualitative articles, the method of data collection (about 33%) is articles, libraries and (about 20%) composite (field-library) and among the quantitative articles (about 5%) are libraries, (about 25%) are field questionnaires and (Up to 50%) were interview field and (up to 20%) were combined (library-field). Out of 15 combined articles, the data collection method was 10 combined articles, 4 articles (about 4%) were library articles and 1 article (up to 10%) was a questionnaire field article. The average number of authors per article was 2.1 and most of the authors of the articles (60%) were male. Is the author (48%).Conclusion: This study showed that the weight of qualitative research is higher than other researches. And the type of analysis was descriptive-analytical with a significant difference more than other types were used and semiotic and comparative analysis, after that, were in the next stage. The hypothesis of this article that most of the articles in the field of art have a qualitative approach and their type of analysis is descriptive-analytical is also confirmed, but a larger comprehensive study of this research found that the types of analysis.
