To evaluate of the data quality in Iran computerized library systems based on end users’ viewpoint is the main purpose of the present study. This study uses data quality assessment scale of computerized library systems from the viewpoing of the end user as a Likert questionnaire to assess and compare the quality of information in terms of content, organization, presentation and usage in three computerized library systems, namely, ParsAzarakhsh, Nosa and Payame-Mashregh in Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, Ahvaz Azad university and Isfahan's industrial University. In three computerized library systems under study, the biggest difference between the average response was in Payam Mashregh and related to the fourth factor of scale "the quality of information in terms of use". Overall, the results showed that respondents of the study had same view toward of content, organization, and form of presentation of the information in computerized library systems of Pars Azarakhsh and Payam Mashregh. Purpose: The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between visual literacy of archivists and their career success in the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. Methods: The research method was survey and the population consisted of 104 staff of archives of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. The data gathered using questionnaires of visual literacy (capers et al, 2012) and career success questionnaires of (Green House et al, 1990). Data analysis test was Pearson correlation test. Findings: Visual literacy of archivists of IRIB in all different aspects of visual literacy is above average and at an acceptable level. Average total mean value of visual literacy of archivists was 3.6859 and above the average. The highest mean is related to the ability to interpret visual. The job success of archivists of IRIB was below the average level, and there was a significant relationship between visual literacy and career success of archive staff. Conclusion: Increasing of visual literacy of archives staff will increase job success of them. The relationship of each of the aspects of visual literacy with career successes were Confirmed. Visual literacy education courses and workshops for staff of visual archives of IRIB were suggested by the present study.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to multilevel analysis of the impact of knowledge sharing on performance of services with respect to moderating role of organizational memory. Methodology: This research in terms of purpose and nature is an applied research and in terms of data collection, is descriptive-survey. Data is collected from 114 librarians from 19 libraries of Ahvaz. We have used valid and reliable questionnaires for data collecting. Findings: Analysis of the results at the individual level (librarians) showed that knowledge sharing has a significant and positive impact on performance services among librarians. The findings of multilevel model showed that the variable of organizational level were found to have significant contextual effects on individuals’ knowledge sharing and performance services. In addition, moderating effect of the organizational level variable on relationship between knowledge sharing and performance services was confirmed. Results: The results of regression analysis show that the more knowledge to be shared, library services will also increase performance and If considered the organizational memory that will further enhance the performance of services.

Purpose: This study investigates status of information flow in Technical Affair Management on the National Iranian South Oil Company. Methods: A descriptive survey method is applied. The population of this study includes the employees of subsidiary offices. The sample sizes of 313 employees were determined as an appropriate sample. 310 questionnaires were collected, 3 were excluded. Accordingly, 310 (99%) questionnaires were analyzed. Data collected by researcher made-questionnaire and were used to collect data in three phases with the opinions of 15 knowledge and information science, management and communication experts in the form of formal validity and its reliability Cronbach's alpha coefficient amount (902/0 = α) was confirmed. Findings: The results showed that this components:Accuracy, Timeliness, Reliability, Detail and form and Availabilityin the process of collecting and storing and organizing at a higher level than average and was proper. Results: Also the components of accuracy and reliability in the publication and distribution are relatively good and the other three elements of the situation have been relatively poor.

Purpose: In this study, deliberate destruction and damage -which is typical vandalism- caused by the equipment of the university library.Methodology: This study was conducted with a qualitative approach and content analysis method. The sample for the study library -men and women- What is the Shahid Bahonar university central library who suffered from vandalism. The sample of the unique sampling of the entire collection method chosen.Finding: The findings show that the handwritten content Vandalism equipment Shahid Bahonar university Central Library reading rooms in four categories consisted of expression, political slogan, feedback and memorabilia available categories. Each of these main categories, sub-categories their own. Check The content of this field suggest that the intention of these acts of destruction and negativity there and members of the library as an outlet for communication and information have seen. The findings of this study can be noted that this case is more common among male students in library vandalism.

Purpose: Since the Knowledge management is a systematic and deliberate attempt to develop, promote, and apply existing knowledge in organizations to create positive value for success and achieving goals, The purpose of this study is to investigate the application of knowledge management criteria to improve the quality of information services in public libraries in Kerman Province. Methodology: This study is a survey research and of course, library approach has been used as well. Data were collected randomly by distributing 144 questionnaires among public libraries employees in Kerman province. Findings: Evaluation of Data analysis findings were presented using SPSS software. , knowledge management criteria, organizational culture, strategy, human resources, information technology, and direct and meaningful relationships with the quality of the public libraries and information services in the province. Conclusion: Using the criteria of knowledge management in public libraries, quality of the library information service are improved. In IT variables regression analysis, coefficient determination with 0.37 and coefficient determination with 0.30 have the greatest impact on the quality of library information services.

Abstract:Purpose: In the present research, higher education students' satisfaction from integration of libraries in Ferdowsi University was measured.Methodology: This study was an applied research that was conducted through a survey. 120 higher education students were selected as the sample population from an unlimited population through random cluster sampling. Data collection was done by a researcher made questionnaire based on Kano customer satisfaction model.Findings: Research results showed a meaningful decrease in higher education students’ satisfaction with the services of four public sections of the central library (in circulation desk, reference, periodicals and multimedia sections) after integrating libraries. In digital reference services desk, this difference has been meaningless. In thesis section, meaningful increase in students' satisfaction was confirmed. It can be concluded that the integration of libraries in Ferdowsi university of Mashhad increased the number of dissatisfied students.Keywords:Users’ satisfaction, integration of libraries, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, information center and central library, Kano customer satisfaction model

Abstract Aim: The Aim of the study is a comparative analysis of the services and capabilities of commercial software (Simorgh) and open-source software Greenstone.Methods: This study is based on the Documentary research and Evaluation survey, with a practical purpose. Methods of collecting data were using library resources and planning check list, including 5 criteria and 103 sub-criteria. These materials were used for evaluation of both software. APH method was used to rate those criteria and sub-criteria. The research community was Simorgh and Greenstone. Results: The research findings showed that the Greenstone software has a better status than Simorgh in terms of technical characteristics, input and output standards, metadata, and protocol support. But in the sub-standard, the Simorgh status display is better than Greenstone. Conclusion: It can be concluded that digital library software Grynastvn more than double the main criteria for Phoenix Digital Library software is an appropriate application And the culmination of this difference in technical standards and the standards of the input and output.

Abstract Objective: The present research examines the relationship between information literacy and library anxiety in graduate students of Kharazmi University. Methodology: This is a survey research. Research populations include all graduate students of Kharazmi University, 500 students from among them were selected randomly as research samples; while, 402 students returned their questionnaires. Data were gathered through two questionnaires developed according to information literacy competency standard for higher education and Bostick’s library anxiety scale. Findings: Findings are indicative of significant relationship between information literacy and library anxiety in both groups of men and women. Correlation of information literacy and library anxiety scores in women (P=0.046), in men (P=0.046) and in total was (P=0.009). Correlation of information literacy and library anxiety scores in master’s degree students (P=0.009), in Ph.D. students (P=0.668), and in total was (P=0.009). Conclusion: Increase in information literacy in master’s degree students, results in decrease of library anxiety. In Ph.D. students, such relationship was not observed. Maximum level of anxiety (39.3%) relates to mild anxiety.

Purpose: this research was performed with the purpose of studying the relationship between multiple levels of need for cognition and students information behavior in different levels of education. Method: this is a study with practical purpose done by survey method. The study population consists of all the students in all levels of education who are currently studying at Shahid Chamran university of Ahvaz in 2016-2017.Findings: findings showed that there is not a meaningful difference between study population's need for cognition variable based on gender, but there is a meaningful difference in this variable based on study population's level of education and field of study. Conclusion: based on the findings of this research it can be concluded that need for cognition, is different among students based on their level of education as well as field of study, and it increases in higher levels of education.
